Our newest design, the ‘Stack’ candlestick, made in new Fumed Oak and brass, with a modern take on a classic turned ‘Bobbin’ design.
We use air-dried, English quarter sawn Oak, which then undergoes a remarkable natural reaction in a fuming cupboard: turning it a deep, rich dark brown, whilst retaining the grain and texture of the timber. The ‘zigzag’ shape of each candlestick is dictated by each stacked wood piece that makes up the construction - a way of utilising all our precious offcuts!
Finished to a rich sheen in a hardwearing wax and oil blend, with a solid brass insert to fit a standard 22mm dinner candle. These candlesticks would suit a relaxed, vintage table just as well as a contemporary mantle.
We’ve made two sizes, a varied collection looks stunning as a table centrepiece, or choose your favourite individually to gift to someone special.
