We often get asked if our boards can be used for chopping as well as serving (and the answer is absolutely yes!) - here’s a dedicated board which will effortlessly take you between the two.
We hand-turn each board from a single piece of quarter-sawn English Oak: characterful, strong and stable. We’ve chosen a thicker stock than our standard boards which helps keep your board flat on all surfaces and longer-lasting when used everyday.
As we make each board we turn a gently curving undercut to the underside, making it really easy to pick your board up and carry as a serving board. It also comes in very useful for scooping chopped food or peelings off the edge of the board.
Finished in mineral oil and our Wood Balm, these boards have a vegan-friendly finish which can easily be rejuvenated to continually care for your board, and extend its lifespan.
