Ebonised Oak Oval Tray

A striking and contemporary home accessory, our Ebonised Oak Oval Trays are perfect for use around the home and mixed alongside natural timber they look completely stunning.

We use air-dried, English quarter sawn Oak, then apply a remarkable natural finish - a solution of vinegar and steel wool which reacts with the tannins in the Oak, turning it jet black, whilst retaining the grain and texture of the timber.

Each tray has modern straight sides and a curved interior - we love them in the centre of a table for candles, or on the bedside table for jewellery. Finished in a food-safe hard wax oil for durability, also food-safe.
